Yamunotri

Yamunotri, the westernmost shrine in the Garhwal Himalayas, is the sacred source of the Yamuna River and the first stop on the annual Char Dham Yatra (May–October). Located at 3,293 meters in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi district, it features a temple dedicated to Goddess Yamuna and holy hot springs, attracting over 1.68 lakh pilgrims in the first 21 days of the 2026 season.

Gangotri

Gangotri is a sacred pilgrim town in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, India, renowned as the spiritual source of the Ganges (Ganga) river. Located at an altitude of approximately 3,100 metres (10,200 ft) in the Greater Himalayan Range, it is one of the four essential stops of the Chota Char Dham pilgrimage.

Kedarnath

Kedarnath is a revered Hindu pilgrimage site located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, India, at an altitude of approximately 3,583 metres (11,755 ft). It is home to the ancient Kedarnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and a primary stop on the Chota Char Dham circuit

Badrinath

Badrinath is a holy town in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, India, renowned as one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites in Hinduism. It serves as a primary pillar of both the national Char Dham and Uttarakhand's Chota Char Dham circuits. Situated at an altitude of approximately 3,100 metres in the Garhwal Himalayas, the town is nestled between the Nar and Narayana mountain ranges on the banks of the Alaknanda River.

Maneri Dam

Maneri Dam is a concrete gravity dam built across the Bhagirathi River in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. It is a primary component of the Maneri Bhali Hydroelectric Project (Stage I) and serves as a diversion dam to supply water for power generation. The dam diverts water through an 8.6 km long tunnel to the Tiloth Power Plant. t is known for its turquoise-blue waters and is surrounded by dense forests and snow-capped Himalayan peaks, making it a favorite spot for photography and picnics.

Dayara Bugal Trek

The Dayara Bugyal Trek is a renowned beginner-friendly route in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi district. It is famous for its vast alpine meadows ("Bugyals") that stretch across 28 square kilometres, offering a 360-degree view of Himalayan giants like Bandarpunch, Kala Nag, and the Gangotri massif. Trek from Raithal to Gui Campsite (approx. 5 km); trail passes through dense oak and maple forests.
